Igor Filkov

Igor Filkov is a Macedonian politician currently serving as the Minister of Justice of North Macedonia. Born in Skopje in 1979, he holds a law degree from the Justinian I Faculty of Law at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. Before his appointment to the cabinet of Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, he was an activist in the Student Union and worked in logistics and procurement for the NGO Solidarités International. In his current role, he has emphasized the importance of European integration and political leadership for the Western Balkans.
