Taku Ikeshita is a Japanese politician and tax accountant currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Nippon Ishin no Kai party. Born in Takatsuki, Osaka, he comes from a family with a long history of local political involvement. Before entering national politics, he served three terms as a member of the Osaka Prefectural Assembly. Ikeshita holds a degree from Ryukoku University and previously worked as a tax accountant. His political platform includes support for constitutional reform, including the formal recognition of the Self-Defense Forces, and a focus on fiscal responsibility. He has been re-elected multiple times to his parliamentary seat representing the Osaka 10th district.
