Imran Masood

Imran Masood is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Saharanpur constituency in the Lok Sabha. Throughout his career, he has held various positions, including Chairman of the Saharanpur Municipal Council and Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Muzzafarabad constituency in Uttar Pradesh. Masood has been associated with the Indian National Congress for much of his political life, having also served as a national secretary of the All India Congress Committee. His career has been marked by significant electoral contests and shifts between political parties, including stints with the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party before his return to the Congress in 2023.
