Ioan-Doru Dăncuș

Ioan-Doru Dăncuș is a Romanian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Baia Mare. He assumed office on November 1, 2024, following his election for the 2024–2028 term. Prior to his tenure as mayor, he served as the deputy mayor of the city. Dăncuș is affiliated with the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and has been actively involved in local urban development initiatives, including the restoration of historical landmarks like Casa Pocol to promote economic and cultural growth in the region.
