Iryna Herashchenko is a Ukrainian politician and journalist currently serving as a People's Deputy of Ukraine and co-chair of the European Solidarity faction in the Verkhovna Rada. She has held a seat in the Ukrainian parliament since 2007, representing multiple convocations. Previously, she served as the First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada from 2016 to 2019 and acted as the Presidential Commissioner for the peaceful settlement of the conflict in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Before entering politics, she had a distinguished career in television journalism, including roles at Inter and UNIAN.
