Isabelle Briquet

Isabelle Briquet is a French politician serving as a Senator for the Haute-Vienne department since 2020. A member of the Socialist Party, she previously held significant local government roles, including serving as the mayor of Le Palais-sur-Vienne from 2001 to 2020 and as a departmental councilor. In the Senate, she is a member of the Finance Committee and has been involved in missions concerning relations with local authorities. She holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Limoges and was appointed a Knight of the Legion of Honour in 2017.
