伊藤辰夫

Tatsuo Ito is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Councillors, having been elected in the 2025 general election representing the Democratic Party for the People. Prior to his national career, he served five terms as a member of the Aichi Prefectural Assembly, where he held various leadership roles including committee chairmanships and served as secretary-general of the Liberal Democratic Party's prefectural caucus. He left the Liberal Democratic Party in 2025 to join the Democratic Party for the People. His political philosophy is centered on the principle of 'respecting heaven and loving people,' and he has been supported by the religious organization Sukyo Mahikari.
