Iván Poduje

Iván Poduje is a Chilean architect, urban planner, and politician who has served as the Minister of Housing and Urbanism since March 11, 2026. An expert in urban development, he previously advised the government on neighborhood regeneration programs and contributed to major infrastructure projects including the Santiago Metro. A frequent political commentator, Poduje has authored several books on urban planning and social issues. He ran as an independent candidate for mayor of Viña del Mar in 2024 before assuming his current ministerial role.
