Ivan Anušić

Ivan Anušić is a Croatian politician currently serving as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, a position he has held since November 2023. A member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), he previously served as the governor of Osijek-Baranja County from 2017 to 2023. His earlier political career includes serving as a member of the Croatian Parliament between 2015 and 2020 and as the mayor of Antunovac from 2005 to 2017. Anušić began his political involvement in the 1990s and has since become a prominent figure within the HDZ.
