Ivet Goranova is a Bulgarian politician and professional karateka who currently serves as a member of the National Assembly of Bulgaria. Before entering politics, she achieved international acclaim as a world-class athlete, winning a gold medal in the women's 55 kg kumite event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. A graduate of the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics in Svishtov, she holds degrees in trade economics and business management. She was elected to parliament in 2026 as a candidate for the Progressive Bulgaria coalition.
