Jānis Lediņš

Jānis Lediņš is a Latvian politician, engineer, and economist who currently serves as the Mayor of Jūrmala. He assumed office on November 24, 2025, following the resignation of his predecessor. A member of the Latvian Green Party, Lediņš has been a deputy in the Jūrmala City Council since 2013 and previously served as the city's deputy mayor starting in 2022. He holds a master's degree in engineering and economics from the University of Latvia and has been active in local municipal governance for over a decade.
