Jürgen Sorré

Jürgen Sorré is a German politician and business economist who has served as the Lord Mayor of Donauwörth since May 2020. Before entering politics, he spent nearly two decades working for Sparkasse Donauwörth, where he held various leadership roles, including head of the corporate client department and deputy board member. Initially elected as an independent candidate, he later aligned with the Free Voters (Freie Wähler) and was re-elected for a second term in 2026. He is a native of Donauwörth and holds a degree in business administration.
