Józef Zając

Józef Zając is a Polish mathematician, academic, and politician serving as a member of the Senate of Poland. He has held his senatorial seat since 2011, representing the Chełm region. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished academic career, serving as the rector of the State Higher Vocational School in Chełm from 2001 to 2016 and specializing in the application of mathematics to economics. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has been associated with various political groups, including the Polish People's Party and the Agreement party, and currently serves as an independent senator within the Third Way parliamentary club.
