Jaanus Karilaid

Jaanus Karilaid is an Estonian politician currently serving as a member of the Riigikogu, the national parliament of Estonia. He has held his parliamentary seat across the XIII, XIV, and XV convocations. A long-time member of the Estonian Centre Party since 1997, he has also served in leadership roles, including as Vice-Chairman of the party. Karilaid holds a degree in political science from Tallinn University, which he earned in 2007. Throughout his career, he has been an active participant in Estonian national politics and public discourse.
