Jack Bloom

Jack Bloom is a South African politician serving as the Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation and a Member of the National Assembly for the Democratic Alliance. He has a long career in politics, previously serving as the longest-serving member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, opposition leader, and shadow health MEC. Bloom holds degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand and a PhD in Religious Studies from the University of South Africa.
