Jacqueline Faría is a Venezuelan politician and hydraulic engineer who currently serves as a member of the National Assembly. A prominent figure within the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), she has held numerous high-level government positions, including Minister of the Environment, Minister of Communication and Information, and Minister of Transport. She also served as the first Head of Government of the Capital District of Caracas, a role created by decree in 2009. Throughout her career, she has managed major state-owned enterprises such as Hidrocapital, Movilnet, and CANTV, and has been a key political leader for the PSUV in the state of Zulia.
