Jae-jung Lee is a South Korean politician and former human rights lawyer currently serving as a three-term member of the National Assembly. Born in Daegu in 1974, she graduated from Kyungpook National University and worked as a lawyer for the organization Lawyers for a Democratic Society (Minbyun) and the People's Solidarity for Participatory Democracy. She entered politics in 2016 and has since held various leadership roles within the Democratic Party of Korea, including party spokesperson and chair of the National Women's Committee. Throughout her legislative career, she has served on committees related to public administration, foreign affairs, and industry, focusing on judicial reform and public policy.
