Jaleela bint Sayed Jawad Hassan

Jaleela bint Sayed Jawad Hassan is a Bahraini politician and medical professional currently serving as the Minister of Health of the Kingdom of Bahrain, a position she has held since June 2022. Prior to her ministerial appointment, she served as the Chief Executive Officer of Primary Healthcare Centres and spent twelve years as a Public Health Consultant, including a tenure as the Acting Head of the Immunization Group within the Ministry of Health. In 2023, she was elected as the Chair of the World Health Assembly Main Committee (A), where she oversees key technical issues such as health systems, emergency preparedness, and universal health coverage.
