James Bezan

James Bezan is a Canadian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Selkirk—Interlake—Eastman since 2004. A member of the Conservative Party, he has held various leadership roles, including Shadow Minister for National Defence and Chair of the Standing Committee on National Defence. Throughout his career, Bezan has been a vocal advocate for agricultural interests, human rights in Ukraine and Iran, and public health initiatives such as stricter warning labels for tanning equipment. He previously worked in the livestock industry and served as CEO of the Manitoba Cattle Producer's Association.
