James D. Kaufman

James D. Kaufman is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Alaska Senate, representing District F in South Anchorage. Before his election to the Senate, he served in the Alaska House of Representatives from 2021 to 2023. Prior to entering state-level politics, Kaufman had a professional career as a construction project manager in the oil industry and was actively involved in neighborhood-level political advocacy in the Hillside area of Anchorage.
