Born in 1974 in St. Albans, Vermont, he attended Fairfield Center School and Bellows Free Academy. Before entering politics, Gregoire served in the United States Army for five years and was a member of the Vermont National Guard. He was first elected to the state legislature in 2019, succeeding Daniel Connor after winning the general election.
