James Lorimer

James Lorimer is a South African politician serving as a Member of the National Assembly for the Democratic Alliance. Born in Johannesburg in 1962, he began his career as a journalist and media consultant before entering politics in 2003 as a media director for the Democratic Alliance. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has held various shadow ministerial portfolios, including Environmental Affairs, Forestry and Fisheries, and Mineral Resources. He is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand.
