Jami Cate

Jami Cate is an American politician and fifth-generation farmer serving as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives. First elected in 2020, she initially represented the 17th district before moving to the 11th district following redistricting. A graduate of Oregon State University with a degree in Crop and Soil Science, she maintains a background in agriculture. Politically, she has aligned with conservative positions, including supporting Texas Governor Greg Abbott during the Standoff at Eagle Pass. In 2025, she announced her candidacy for the Oregon State Senate.
