Jamie Korab is a Canadian politician and former professional curler who currently serves as a Member of the House of Assembly for the district of Waterford Valley in Newfoundland and Labrador. A gold medal-winning athlete at the 2006 Winter Olympics, he transitioned into municipal politics, serving on the St. John's City Council from 2017 to 2024. Following his election to the provincial legislature in 2024, he was appointed to the provincial cabinet, holding portfolios including Minister of Families and Affordability and Minister of Seniors. Outside of his political career, he is a real estate agent and remains active in charitable work.
