Jamil Sadegholvaad

Jamil Sadegholvaad is an Italian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Rimini since October 2021 and as the President of the Province of Rimini since November 2022. Born in Rimini to an Iranian father and an Italian mother, he holds a degree in political science from the University of Bologna. A long-time member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as a provincial assessor for industry and as a municipal assessor for security in Rimini for a decade. He is recognized for his commitment to local administration and his background as a second-generation Italian.
