Jan Wincenty Hamerski is a Polish politician and local government official currently serving as a member of the Senate of Poland. First elected to the Senate in 2015, he has been re-elected for subsequent terms and chairs the Senate's Infrastructure Committee. Throughout his career, he has served as the mayor of Szczawnica, a councilor for the Nowy Targ County, and the starosta of Nowy Targ County. A long-time activist in the Związek Podhalan, he has been a prominent figure in regional politics and local governance in the Lesser Poland region.
