Jan Henner Putzier is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Lower Saxony. Born in Uelzen, he studied political science at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University Hannover. Before entering the state parliament in 2023, he worked as a research assistant for the Bundestag and served as the state secretary for the Workers' Welfare Association (AWO) in Lower Saxony. He has been a member of the SPD since 2001 and also serves as a member of the Uelzen district council.
