Ján Horváth is a Slovak politician and Member of the National Council of Slovakia, representing the Direction – Social Democracy (SMER–SD) party. He took office in July 2024, replacing Ľuboš Blaha after his election to the European Parliament. Prior to his tenure in the national parliament, he served as the mayor of the village of Chtelnica in the Trnava Region.
