Jan Koltze is a German politician and trade unionist who has served as a member of the Hamburg Parliament since 2020. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) since 1990, he represents the party as a spokesperson for labor market and trade union issues. Before entering politics, Koltze worked as an energy plant electrician and later served as a long-time trade union secretary for the IG Bergbau, Chemie, Energie, where he has led the Hamburg/Harburg district since 2005.
