Jana Simanovska is a Latvian politician, environmental scientist, and engineer currently serving as a member of the 14th Saeima. Before her election in 2022, she worked as a lecturer at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences and was active in various civil society organizations, including the Eco-design Competence Centre and the Delna transparency association. She holds a doctorate in environmental engineering from Riga Technical University and has been a member of The Progressives party since 2017, advocating for environmental sustainability and transparent governance.
