Jansen Owen

Jansen Tosh Owen is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives for the 106th district since 2020. Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, he is a graduate of Pearl River Community College, the University of Southern Mississippi, and Tulane University Law School. A member of the Mississippi Army National Guard, Owen campaigned on platforms of reducing tax and regulatory burdens, increasing government transparency, and cutting wasteful spending. He is currently the youngest serving member of the Mississippi Legislature and serves as Co-Chair of the Mississippi Future Caucus.
