Janusz Pęcherz

Janusz Pęcherz is a Polish politician, academic, and chemist currently serving as a member of the Senate of Poland. Born in 1954, he holds a doctorate in chemical sciences and previously worked as an academic lecturer and administrator at the State University of Applied Sciences in Kalisz. Pęcherz served as the President of Kalisz from 2002 to 2014 and later as a city councilor and head of the city council. He was first elected to the Senate in 2019 and successfully secured re-election in 2023.
