Jason Hoskins is an American politician serving as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives since 2023, representing the 18th district. He made history as the first LGBTQ person of color elected to the Michigan state legislature. Prior to his election to the state house, Hoskins served on the Southfield City Council from 2019 to 2023 and worked as a staff member for Jeremy Moss. He holds an MBA from Eastern Michigan University and a JD from the University of Detroit Mercy, where he was active in the American Civil Liberties Union.
