Jay Hoffman

Jay C. Hoffman is an American politician serving as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 113th district. First elected in 1991, he has served multiple tenures in the state legislature, including roles as a floor leader for House Democrats and Chairman of the House Transportation and Motor Vehicles Committee. A graduate of Illinois State University and Saint Louis University School of Law, Hoffman previously worked as an assistant state's attorney and director of probation and court services. His legislative career has focused on infrastructure, energy security, and economic development, including authoring plans to utilize Midwestern natural resources for job creation.
