Nancy De Boer

Nancy De Boer is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives for the 86th district, having been first elected in 2022. Prior to her state-level service, she held a long career in local government, serving on the Holland City Council for 14 years, including two terms as mayor from 2015 to 2019. Her professional background includes work as a high school English teacher, a radio talk show host, and executive director of the West Michigan Character Council. Politically, De Boer is known for her conservative stances, including her opposition to abortion and her past opposition to local anti-discrimination ordinances regarding LGBTQ+ protections.
