Jay Jacobs

Jay A. Jacobs is an American politician serving as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates for the 36th district since 2011. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the mayor of Rock Hall, Maryland, from 1999 to 2011. Throughout his legislative career, Jacobs has focused on issues related to agriculture, fisheries, and local economic development. He has held the position of chair of the House Republican Caucus since 2013 and maintains a conservative stance on fiscal and social policy.
