Jayant Malaiya

Jayant Kumar Malaiya is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He has served as a long-standing representative for the Damoh constituency in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, first elected in 1984. Throughout his extensive political career, he has held several ministerial positions in the state government, including serving as the Minister of Finance and Minister of Urban Administration and Development. After a brief electoral defeat in 2018, he was re-elected to the sixteenth Legislative Assembly in 2023.
