Jayne Stinson is an Australian politician who has served as the Labor member for Badcoe in the South Australian House of Assembly since 2018. Before entering politics, she had a diverse career as a broadcast journalist for ABC News, Network Ten, and Channel Seven, and worked internationally in Cambodia, India, and Rwanda. She also served as an adviser to the Rudd and Gillard Labor governments and worked for the Law Society of South Australia. During her parliamentary career, she has held various frontbench portfolios, including Child Protection, Arts, and Planning and Development.
