JD Vance

JD Vance is an American politician and author serving as the 50th Vice President of the United States since 2025. Born in Middletown, Ohio, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps before earning degrees from Ohio State University and Yale Law School. He rose to national prominence with his 2016 memoir, Hillbilly Elegy, which explored the socioeconomic challenges of the Appalachian region. Previously, he represented Ohio in the U.S. Senate from 2023 to 2025.
