Jean Bacci

Jean Bacci is a French politician who has served as a Senator for the Var department since September 2020. Before his election to the Senate, he held several local and regional offices, including serving as the Mayor of Moissac-Bellevue from 1995 to 2020, President of the Communauté de communes Lacs et Gorges du Verdon from 2017 to 2020, and a regional councilor for Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur from 2015 to 2021. He also served as a general councilor for the canton of Tavernes between 2004 and 2011. In 2024, he was among the parliamentarians who voted against the constitutional revision to guarantee the right to voluntary termination of pregnancy.
