Jean-Marie Dedecker

Jean-Marie Dedecker is a Belgian politician and former judo coach who currently serves as the mayor of Middelkerke. Initially a member of the Flemish Liberals and Democrats (VLD), he later founded his own party, Lijst Dedecker (LDD), in 2007. Known for his right-wing, classical-liberal views, Dedecker has been a vocal critic of mass migration and the political establishment. Throughout his career, he has served in both the Belgian Senate and the Chamber of Representatives, often operating as an independent or in affiliation with the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA).
