Jeevun Sandher

Jeevun Sandher is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Loughborough since 2024. An economist by profession, he holds a PhD in Political Economy from King’s College London and previously worked as an economist in Somaliland, as well as for HM Treasury and the Department for Work and Pensions. Politically identified with the soft left of the Labour Party, he serves on the Treasury Select Committee and as a Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Department of Business and Trade. Sandher is also an active advocate for social security reform and has co-sponsored legislation regarding end-of-life care.
