Jeff Klemp is an American politician serving as a member of the Kansas Senate for the 5th district since 2025. A lifelong resident of Leavenworth County, Kansas, he previously founded the transportation company Century Van Lines and served as the chief restructuring officer for Basil Street Pizza. Before his election to the state senate, he served on the Leavenworth County Fire Board and ran for the Lansing city council. In the legislature, Klemp has focused on tax policy and economic development, including the use of STAR bonds for mall redevelopment.
