Jeff Waldstreicher

Jeffrey D. Waldstreicher is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Maryland Senate, representing District 18 in Montgomery County. Before his election to the Senate in 2019, he served two terms in the Maryland House of Delegates starting in 2007. A graduate of Emory University and the University of California, Berkeley, Waldstreicher is a lawyer by profession. Throughout his legislative career, he has focused on issues such as environmental protection, criminal justice reform, and digital privacy, including the successful sponsorship of legislation requiring search warrants for digital tracking. He currently serves as the vice-chair of the Judicial Proceedings Committee.
