Jeffrey Dinowitz

Jeffrey Dinowitz is an American politician serving as a member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 81 in the Bronx since 1994. A graduate of the Bronx High School of Science, Lehman College, and Brooklyn Law School, he previously worked as an administrative law judge. Throughout his tenure, Dinowitz has chaired several key committees, including the Committee on Codes, and has been a prominent advocate for tenant protections, public health legislation, and environmental issues. He played a significant role in the 2008 'Rainbow Rebellion' within the Bronx Democratic Party.
