
Jennifer Jasberg

Jennifer Jasberg is a German politician and member of the Hamburgische Bürgerschaft. Born in Gelsenkirchen, she studied Arabic studies, political science, gender studies, and ethnology at the University of Göttingen. Before her election to the Hamburg parliament in 2020, she worked as a parliamentary assistant in the European Parliament and at the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry for Energy Transition, Agriculture, Environment, Nature and Digitalization. From 2020 to 2025, she served as the chair of the Green parliamentary group in Hamburg. In 2025, she was appointed as a deputy member of the European Committee of the Regions.
