A member of the Republican Party, she previously served on the Quincy school board from 2017 to 2019 and was the founder and chair of the Branch County chapter of Moms for Liberty. Outside of her political career, Wortz owns and operates a chicken farm known as Central Grace Farms in Quincy, Michigan.
