Jenny Chapman is a British politician and life peer who has served as the Minister of State for International Development, Latin America and the Caribbean since 2025. A member of the Labour Party, she previously served as the Member of Parliament for Darlington from 2010 to 2019. Throughout her career, she has held various shadow cabinet positions, including Shadow Minister for Prisons and Shadow Minister for the Cabinet Office. In 2021, she was created Baroness Chapman of Darlington and joined the House of Lords. Additionally, she has served as the Chancellor of Teesside University since 2023.
