Jerry Stevenson

Jerry Stevenson is an American politician serving as a member of the Utah State Senate, representing District 6 since 2023. Previously, he represented District 21 following his appointment in 2010. Before his legislative career, Stevenson served as the mayor of Layton, Utah, for 12 years and held various roles in local government, including the Layton City Council and Planning Commission. A private business owner by profession, he has also served on the boards of Weber State University and the Davis Applied Technology College. Throughout his tenure in the Senate, he has focused on economic development, higher education, and labor appropriations.
