Jessica González-Rojas is an American politician, activist, and academic serving as a member of the New York State Assembly for the 34th district since 2021. Of Paraguayan and Puerto Rican descent, she previously worked as the executive director of the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health and as an adjunct professor at the City University of New York. A member of the Democratic Socialists of America, she is known for her progressive advocacy on reproductive rights, immigrant justice, and social equity. In 2025, she announced her candidacy for the New York State Senate.
